The dragon bond was great...I enjoyed that a lot. Although Iron Flame fell flat for me.

I will read the 3rd instalment regardless :D

it's actually really good. less romance in the first book but that's OK because it builds slowly. the FMC is one of the finest characters written.

the story is riddled with nuances about how overthrowing a regime might look easy on paper but how it actually impacts society. It is really very good. Loved all three books.
