don’t stress. the more you think about it, the worse it’ll get. pay more attention in class. it is COMPLETELY okay to raise your hand and ask questions. speaking from personal experience, i hated raising my hand as a kid but after 4th grade i started to and its helped tremendously. if you need help during class, they expect you to ask. they are teachers for a reason!

second of all, it helps to bring the work home if you can, if you aren’t homeschooled. you can study, and you can use google or ai’s to ask questions. it sounds ridiculous, but it helps. don’t ask for the answers, ask for the steps to solve the problem. it WILL help, ESPECIALLY if you don’t have a tutor or family member/guardian to help you understand the assignment during after school hours.

email your teacher. they can help you and they answer emails 85% of the time. they can get you help during their office hours, in the morning, after school, during class or lunch- whenever is best for both you and them.

you can call friends. you can ask for help. if you don’t understand it, that’s fine, that’s normal. math isn’t everyone’s strong suit. don’t stress too much. just trust me. you’ll be perfectly fine. 💙
