Oooo I love a list! Just watched it and made note of some! The dark window is already in my TBR for October!!
oh gosh, thanks for reminding me. that was in the top of my queue but I forgot it's fall-ish. I'll prob read it next. nettle & bone is very short
That was one of the ones I put on my list! Might have it as a palette cleanser since it’s short! I like how said said if you don’t like this or like that then this book is/isn’t for you! I found it really helpful
yes same. she does it quickly too, like this book has age gap, this book has trauma, this book is more plot driven etc. saves me a lot of time.
i am finishing this book tonight or tomorrowhttps://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...
slewfoot
omg so far 5 stars
it's like fantasy salem witch trials. the first third of it was woody horror but not too horror. lots of family drama. i haven't been able to put it down.
Ooooo that is on my list too to read in October. After I finished ACOSF I’m going to read Spellshop as my palette cleanser and official start my cosy/spooky season and I’m so excited
Omgg that makes me more excited to read Slewfoot! I love a good horror. Probably makes me a bit psycho saying that lol Andrea. Let me know how the spooky books are that you’re reading.
about to start daughter of the forest by marillier. I'm like 80 percent sure it's autumn atmospheric vibes/energy/whatever. pretty excited. if I can't get into it I'll jump into map of the otherlands. encyclopaedia of farires is very winterish fwiw but I heard otherlands is more fall
I loooooved daughter of the forest. I also read hearts blood (same author) but dof is definitely better. the beginning is a bit slow and there's a tw. but it's a gorgeous book. I'm going to read sorceress comes to call next. Kingfishers books are super easy to plow through and some say this is her best book
