What they don’t realize is that an evil force is playing with them. The family’s perseverance, moral courage and faith help them navigate challenges and confront unexpected discoveries about their own history, and their nation's history.
The book cuts across genres: ostensibly a contemporary suspense novel, it’s also a part-historical (the lost treasure and some past events are real) and part-religious mystery. It avoids profanity, graphic sex and violence, but takes an unorthodox stance on various issues, which may surprise the reader.
Sensitive readers: in the prologue [minor SPOILER ALERT] someone gets shot, but the episode is - I believe - dealt with sensitively.
Some readers found the Goodreads link did not take them to Amazon. In which case please either use this link https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DF6NLS7J or go onto Amazon and search for the Golden Crown of Seville, by Roland O’Brien. I would really welcome reviews and feedback.
