Robert Garlington | 3 comments Hi everyone,
I have a topic, it's painful but, it's one that most of us have faced or at some point in our lives will have to face. The topic is pet loss and what happens to owners and their families when they lose a beloved pet and companion. My family and I went thru this 4 years ago and I finally got up the nerve to memorialize my "Buddy" with a book. I'm curious if anyone in the group would be willing to read and review the book. I want to proactively ask for your forgiveness if this topic is one that shouldn't be shared with the group or if anyone finds it offensive. This truly, was not my intent and again, I'm sorry if I've offended anyone or hit a "gray" area within the group. If you are interested, let me know and we'll connect so I can get the book to you.

Hi Robert,
Sorry if no one responding to you on this. Some of these groups are not as active as I wished. The topic you raise is one that all of us pet lovers need to face eventually, and many of us have gone through multiple dogs in our life. There are some people who don't like to read books where the dog dies in the end of the book. I want to say suck it up and read the book if it is good. I always appreciate it when people immortalize a dog in a book. So not a topic that should be gray in any way. I would read the book if you like. And good luck on the book. There can always be another good dog book.
Steve
