I just started reading "Happy Place" a couple of days ago, but I'm having trouble getting into it. I'm not sure if it's because it's been a while since I've read a regular romance book, or if there's something else that's not clicking for me. I'm wondering if "Happy Place" is really worth it or if I should just stop reading it.

As someone who DNFed it's not. There is a bunch of miscommunication

Have you read other books by Emily Henry before? I personally have found that her writing style doesn’t really draw me in. I would say if you’re not liking it in the beginning it’s probably not for you.

It didn’t work for me due to too less plot and unnecessary flashbacks. If you’re okay with that style, it could still be worth a try.

Nah I'm not a fan of miscommunication trope.

For me, it was one of the EH books that didn't hit quite as well! If you want a quick fun read, I suggest book lovers or funny story!

I only liked Funny story and Book lovers from Emily. I didn't like Funny story

I'm reading it now, and I'm in the 5 chapter I think, so I can't say much, but I'm enjoying the vibe!

I read it and it was very boring. The writing style was very childish and there were these weird adjectives thrown around. The author was trying to sound quirky.

I loved it!
