Booknblues | 13048 comments Just a note to let our members know that we will once again be holding Fall Flurries for the months of October, November and December.

For new members and a refresher:
During Fall Flurries we read books which are seasonal to the month.

It really is wide open. For example in October you could read a book by a Hispanic author because it is Hispanic Heritage Month.

Of course you could read a book about a ghost or a witch and that would fit.

It could be a book set in the Fall.

We share our reviews that we read for the month and add to our TBR while we are at it.

Book Concierge (tessabookconcierge) | 8671 comments Don't forget that October brings Thanksgiving in Canada ... so a Canadian author / setting would also work!

Theresa | 16879 comments Personally, my October list is purely witchy, cozy, smutty.

Thank you for mentioning it! You beat me to it!

LibraryCin | 12192 comments I will, of course, be reading for Halloween in October.

Heather Reads Books (gothicgunslinger) | 923 comments I've got a lot of spooky reads lined up for October - I hope I get to at least some of them!

LibraryCin | 12192 comments Just fyi to anyone who adds their books to the group bookshelf.

I have added a
fall flurry of holidays 2024
shelf.

Maybe (except for the current year), I should combine the previous years at some point...? Or maybe it's just easier to leave them separate for stats each year.
