Play Book Tag discussion

This is one of those book where the name of the book is just so fitting, as Ludwik and Janusz try to keep their love for each other secret in 1980s Communist Poland, where the repressive, conservative society makes their relationship unthinkable. The first 50 or so pages were very descriptive, with lots of flowery language and metaphors, and not much happening, but the book really picked up after this. The story that Ludwik and Janusz shared was heartbreaking, and I really wanted to know what happened to them in the future, and I would also have liked to have got to know them better than I was able to in such a short book.
