I'm going to read Det lyser i stille grender by Oddgeir Bruaset about the origin of the most loved Christmas Carols in Noway.
This book is the 1st of 3 editions of this book, published in 2009, the 2nd edition came in 2013 with the same title and cover, and the 3rd edition, Stille natt - Historiene bak julesongane våre was released in 2020.
I read the 3rd edition 2 years ago, so I'll read the 1st this year.
When I did a generic 'holiday music' search at my local library, I found Becoming Billie Holiday by Carole Weatherford. It won a Coretta Scott King award, and it's a biographical poem about the legendary singer. What more could anyone want?
After a false start with, Make the Season Bright, which I DNFd, due to it’s being annoying. I began, Let It Glow as I’d just added it to my school’s library. When I discovered there is a holiday pageant, with musical numbers, I realized I could use it!
I went with Duck the Halls by Donna Andrews. I finished it, but I'm not going to read any more books from the series. It wasn't as cute as the title, and the murder didn't happen until over halfway through the book. It was mostly the main character rescheduling various church events.

* Title: You may choose a book with the words, “Holiday” or “Harmonies” in the title. You might also choose a title inspired by a classic holiday tune. (This may be an exact song title, like Deck the Halls by Mary Higgins Clark, or a twist on a classic, like Wreck the Halls by Tessa Bailey.)
* Cover: You may find a holiday-themed cover with music notes, musical references, or characters singing.
* Character: Does the main character love to sing or write music? Is there a caroling scene? Is the main character’s name Harmony or Carol? Any of these options would fit this prompt!
