Play Book Tag discussion

I still like this enough for three stars although this wasn't my favourite story of the lot. I did enjoy Hector quite a bit and also some changes with Sunny, etc. There are quite a few witty things in these books that adults who read can pick up on, or even just on expressions anyone can be familiar with.

Snicket (pen name of Daniel Handler) has a fabulous imagination and maintains the same dark humour throughout the books. If you only like realistic fiction, don't bother reading any of these; if they were realistic and this devastating, they'd be depressing.
