Challenge Rules
👻Books must be a minimum of 140 pgs
👻Rereads are allowed if more than 6 months
👻Audiobooks should be a minimum of 3 hours long
👻Books may be started before the challenge starts if they are completed AFTER the start date
👻Graphic Novels must be a minimum of 200 pgs
👻No poetry or cookbooks will be accepted

Yes, actually there is. I sent out a group message to remind them mainly because of the notification issue. I am being a bit more generous because of it. If they don't check in by the end of today, I will send them each a private message. That will put them on a 48-hour notice. If they don't respond, I will replace anyone who needs to be replaced.

I am sure Kat will check in momentarily. She is always around. Library probably will be also. Not sure about your other teammate. Don't recognize the name. The notifications are messing with all of us. We are used to email notifications and Goodreads took them away. It might take some time for us to get used to them. Ashley just sent out some helpful information on this yesterday so hopefully, it gets better.

So Sorry, I did not realize this was up. I've been out all day, but I am here now and ready to hunt some Ghosts! ;)

Library has been given 48 hours to check in. Please let me know if that doesn't happen. In the meantime, please decide on a team name and tell me what it is in the check-in thread. Late teammates should show up on time to give input on these things.

Who checks into the library? Everyone or just one person? (Going back to read rules.)

The rest of you just need to pick a team name. Then you need to click on the Ghost Containment link in message one and let me know what it is.

Library Ghost:

The team is called to the library to investigate a ghost sighting. Wandering through the library, you notice symmetrical book stacking, ectoplasmic residue on card catalog drawers, and bookshelves falling over. Knowing you are getting close, your team continues exploring the library. As you round the corner, you see a female apparition. She is an older woman wearing a purple dress. She is reading a book and obviously thinks you guys are too loud. She shushes you. You attempt to talk to her and she scares your team away. Your team needs a plan to capture her.

Or I can do library…..the MC in the book I’m reading just went to the library!

I have a book that I am reading The Underground Library it can be either the library or female m/c as 3 women are in this library. So, I can go with either one for this book. :) I don't think I could used stacked as books are on the shelves.

Hopefully Library when they join us can do stacked books

I saw that. I guess the question is, do we set it up before everyone else has completed a book? I looked at other groups and they either don't have a completion post, or the whole team finished a book. Should I set up one now with the link to my first completion post?

I know that Donna has asked us to keep 'a book a week' pace. I'm not sure what happens if a team member reads slower than that. Hopefully Stormie will check in soon.

Does someone want to message Stormie and ask if she's about finished with her book?

Oops, I forgot to post. I finished it on Sunday, Oct 13.
If I need to add more to this or do a book review, I must finish it tonight, I haven't been feeling well due to new medication and have to do lab work. I am so sorry to get behind in my reading and posting.
