oh yeah, I already read the book, but coincidentally, I'm currently reading the third installment in the series! and oohh boy, do I and this series have this back and forth love/hate relationship. however I would still recommend it for most people!

if it's alright to ask here, I was wondering: I'm on the third installment in the series presently and I'm majorly reading so I can get to the spinoff, The Grandest Game and I was wondering, without spoilers, is The Brothers Hawthorne a must read before reading The Grandest Game?

Yes

100% nothing in the grandest game will make sense bc a lot of the characters in that book are from the brothers hawethorne

I waited too long after reading the hawethorne brothers to read the grandest game and I was confused.

Oh phew, thanks for letting me know! I'm really antsy about getting to the spinoff and wasn't too sure about reading the fourth book

Inheritance Games is definitely worth it if you enjoy puzzles, intrigue/mystery, and a little romance. Personally it wasn't my favorite by this author but it's still really good :)

I have read that series like months AGOO bit I'm like torn between Grayson and Jameson 😭😭

i finished it and it might of been my fault for reading to fast but I didn't feel like I really connected with the characters until like 80% in and I didn't care abt the story that much until the end either. But the ending really pulled it together for me
