Shelby gives birth to a boy, Noah! Avery pleads his case with Shelby who relents and agrees to let him come back home and give the baby his last name, but on limited terms. Why do you think she’s agreed to give him another chance? Right thing to do or should she end things now?

She's still in love with Avery and isn't ready to let him go. Avery is sorry for what he did and doesn't even know why he said Sam's name. If they want to stay together, they should probably get some counseling.

Shelby loves Avery and has come to realize that he doesn't want to be attracted to Sam. Counseling would definitely be a good idea (so would Force ending this plot thread).

They certainly need to get over this plot thread, one way or another. Way overdue, as many readers think.

I agree with everyone. Counseling for Avery is a must.
