I still need to get a Gilbert Morris book checked off for Author of the Month (several months ago!), so I'll likely go with one of his Bugles and Bonnets books, as I'm already a couple books into that series.

Got a male author, but don't recommend the book.
Out of the Silence: After the Crash by Eduardo Strauch Urioste (GM; cannibalism for survival).

Still need to get to that Gilbert Morris book. Ought to be really good!

The first, book 4, The Extra mile was the daughter after her mom’s death and her mom’s friends.

The second, novella, The Quilt, is a mother’s last gift was making a prayer quilt with her daughter-in-laws and neighbors.
