Read this one when it came out. Has a sort of similar premise to Thinner but not executed as well. I hated the political undertones of this one. Enjoy the reread but I’m out.
I read this when it was first released, but don’t remember much about it except the main story line. It’s a quick read.
Just started both DT3 The Waste Lands as well as Journey to the West, will catch the next BOM. Enjoy all!
Read this for the second time recently, enjoyed it more than the first! Also first time for a 'Group Read', so I'm in (and curious)
Felt like an aborted trunk novel that King never believed in. Short, but not something I want to read again.Loved the cat that just shied away from everybody and everything. As if it didn't want to be in the novel. lol

Ah love hearing that, how interesting!
I read this a couple of months ago, after finishing the Gwendy series. I got hooked on Castle Rock so this was what I went to next..
Also watched the Castle Rock tv show

I read this some time ago and thought it was a very moving piece of work. A lot of life lessons in one book..
I read it a few years ago while traveling. I thought it was good and for a short trip kept me entertained. I shared it with my 12 yr old and she thought it was great.
I’ve never read this one - I decided to skip it when it came out but just got it and excited to finally read it.
I started listening today. Should finish tomorrow, depending on the weather. I like to sit outside to read a book while it's still nice.
This one was a total game changer from what King usually writes. I loved this short read it was very entertaining!
I actually enjoyed Elevation. It is similar to Thinner though, which I’m about to reread after decades.
Read this book multiple times since I got it at Barnes and Noble, it is hands down one of my favorites by King. It was executed well and its ending made me tear up; love the representation of the small books in this club.
I read some more of the book and I'm having a hard time getting into it because of the political vibes and it feels like it is taking from his other story Thinner!
I finished reading this and I enjoyed it! I liked Scott. I wish we could have gotten an explanation as to why Scott was having his issue.
Hi Fellow King Readers,Enclosed is the link to my monthly review of King's novella "Elevation":

To fun and interactive discussion, as well as great reading!
Thanks, Scott.
Sadly I don't think I will be finishing this one it just hasn't captured my attention, and I don't like that it's similar to other Stephan King books, my personal opinion!
I enjoyed Elevation. I loved the marathon. It was similar in ways to Thinner but both can be classed separately. I thought Thinner the better of the two though.
I have read and really enjoyed it. Here’s my review if you wish to read: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I just finished Elevation and enjoyed it. I think the social commentary was right on time and accurate. As a straight, 59 year old male I can say the social commentary makes some sense and a little basic but thought out. I considered passing my copy onto a lady friend of mine who is more right wing conservative but don’t think it would loosen her up at all. We all have preconceived notions and not many people are open to changing their mindset… 🤷🏻♂️Probably just pass it onto my daughters instead. I am sure they will each appreciate it.
