Finished. I really enjoyed.

Kristen Fort | 109 comments It was something like 10 years ago when I read it. It's a favorite among upper elementary and middle school crowds, teachers and students alike!

Tiffany (herbtiff) | 197 comments So much that can be taught and learned from this book. Auggie knew he was different, and he had been so protected. Through love and worry, his family sends him out into a world that makes him learn even more. He has the typical stress of being a small 5th grader, new to the school, and way out of the norm. But he embraces it and finds amazing friends along the way.

Summer, what an amazing young woman. Truly a character to be reckoned with and looked up to. She isn't in the world just to get ahead. She is one that will strengthen anyone around her. Jack probably learned and grew the most. What a kid to realize what he needed to do and become. And where real friends can be found.

I would recommend this book.

Julie Grindal (julesgrin) | 173 comments I was finally able to get this from the library and it was really a good story! I got teary at the graduation ceremony.
I recommend this book to every middle schooler. I’d suggest they should take the time to read this. Perhaps the parents of elementary and middle schools as well should read it.
It is a time when you feel like everyone is looking at you and judging you..and they are but not like Auggie was. What a courageous character he was. The relationships changing along the way showed growth in everyone.
