Didn't quite get a chance to start today so I will certainly circle back tomorrow when I catch up - had a random vet visit today so life happened. lol
a day behind but trying to get caught up over the next couple days - through the end of chapter 11:This is a re-read but I don't recall a whole ton about this. I remember struggling with the lingo and such the first time but it's coming together pretty easily currently. I really like Bree - she is spunky but I think that's good. I am curious to see what happens when Sel sees her. I also completely forgot there were trials/competition in this one! I wonder what she will tell Alice about joining a group - especially one that is so hush hush.
through the end of chapter 17: Why do I feel like there good be a bit of a triangle between Nick, Bree, and Sel? I hope not but it's so common in YA.
We are back to some of the world building being confusing for me but I'm sure as the story moves along things will come together a bit more.
I'm curious about the mage flame Bree experienced in the shower - I don't remember any other pages having mage flame after their oaths?
I have managed to reach Chapter 3, but no further progress was made due to an insane work schedule. Even though I like the premise so much, I find it a bit hard to get invested for the time being. But I’m excited to see how everything is going to turn out!
through the end of chapter 23:I'm sorry - wildcraft? Other new magic? Intrigue!
I don't like Vaughn so it makes sense that I also do not like his mother - kind of racist there my guy.
I think I'll enjoy the next little bit with the trials and such. I am still curious to see why Sel is so suspicious. Like chill, dude?

@Brianna, I honestly forgot about Vaughn, so it was a shock to read about him. Also the trials are one of my favorite parts!
through the end of chapter 29: Oh snap! I totally forgot about the memory walking! I am also super curious to see what happens with Sel now that he confirmed he knows Bree isn't under oath or seeing her mage flame.
through end of chapter 35:I'm sorry - it's only been a week since school started?! Things are moving quick!
I am so glad that Bree beat Vaughn. She deserves that win.
I wish she would stop running from Patricia - she's her main link to her mom and she just can't handle it yet.
through end of chapter 41:I love the reference to Twilight - if you know you know. lol
This plot goes *deep*.
I liked this moment with Bree and her dad - I think she needed it.
And.... accidentally finished :) Excited to see what other people think! Even though I read this previously I really did not remember that ending.
@Brianna I love that you accidentally finished the book xD very promising for the book, too!I am so far behind, just reached Ch 6, and even though I love the premise my physical copy is so hard to get through. The font is tiny and it's tiring me a lot! So, I found the ebook version and I'm finally making some progress. Hopefully I will be able to catch up quicker now, haha.

The last like 3rd just FLEW for me - things got really interesting and I was finally invested. Hopefully the ebook is a bit easier for you! (yay for being able to control font size lol)

This is my third reread and I'm still noticing small things that make more sense after reading Bloodmarked. I think that's so cool! I love when I have that moment in a tv series, so it's great to read in a book.
@Brianna The ending is so good, and Deonn made a black girl the hero. We don't get that that often, so I think about this series so often.
Bree really pissed me off about Patricia because she was exactly who Bree needed the whole time!
Also, how do you feel about Nick?
