I've read a series of books that is creepy and a bit weird but w/o blood and violence is the Clifton Heights series by Kevin Lucia. It starts with Things Slip Through. Great stories and characters and a very strange town where nothing is as it seems.

LTJ (ltj81) | 2033 comments Grimm's Fairy Tales is always a great gift for a horror fan since they have so many hardcover editions that make it pop. It's just all the childhood fairy tales (a lot of which became Disney movies) that were originally written which were creepy as hell!
