Cameron guided Luke in the doorway, spotting Luke's jacket. “Oh, I forgot to give this back to you!”
Cameron whipped all the pillows and covers off the bed until all that was left was the mattress. “Make yourself comfortable,”
Cameron plopped down next to him. “Maybe I shouldn’t be dragging you into this. I mean, they’re after me, not you”
“Yeah, it’s a little hard to believe that you’d want to, but, here we are.” Cameron smiled. “We know I’m an idiot, but what does that make you for sticking with me, huh?”
Cameron grabbed a pillow. “1, 2, 3, 4, I declare a pillow war!” And he chucked the pillow at Luke's head
The pillow hit Cameron right in the face and he picked up another one, throwing two pillows at Luke while laughing.
He was already holding a pillow, and wasn’t prepared for the two that came flying in his direction and he fell backwards on the ground. “Ow…”
Cameron took the opportunity to hit Luke with a pillow. “Lesson #1 of pillow fighting: never fall for your enemy playing dead.”
“You're constantly worried about me Luke, huh, I wonder why that is.” Cameron hid a pillow behind his back.
Cameron flailed for words for a second. “that’s cause I wanted you to see it,” and he ducked down and grabbed Luke by the legs, throwing the pillow up into the air.
Cameron made Luke lose his balance, and caught him just before he hit the ground. “And that, is how you take somebody by surprise.”
“Well, I’ve never kissed anybody before so it’s good to hear I have one five star review,” Cameron joked
Cameron tried to hide his blush. “How am I gonna have one of those silly laugh-out-loud first kiss stories now, Barnes? If my first kiss was shared with the sweetest person ever”
“Mm, no, you're the sweetest, I’m the funniest. We can have that argument after I convince you that I’ve never hidden anything in my life,” he said, and pulled Luke's hand away to hold it in his
Cameron chuckled, pulling the blanket snug over Luke, about to go under the covers again but then he saw something and he paled
The Captain America shield was placed on Cameron's desk, right next to the window, which was open enough for somebody to fit through. Cameron stood up and walked towards it, in disbelief.
“That little faith in yourself?” Cameron shook his head playfully, and checked the back of the shield, finding a note tucked into the handle.
