Genre: Drama/HistoricalWork: Henry V by William Shakespeare. It's been a looooooooong time since I even looked at it, so I'm due a close read.
I'm reading Conclave for this challenge as it set on October-November. My issue is it's rather hard to categorize the book. I'll settle with Thriller because I don't think it's a historical fiction (conclave is a real process, but the characters in the book are not based on real characters)
Listened to the audiobook of "De Moord op Roger Ackroyd" (The Murder of Roger Ackroyd) for this prompt. Gripping story! Although I had my suspicions about the murderer, it still came as quite a surprise in the end.
I read A Match Made for Thanksgiving. It's Canadian so thanksgiving is in early October and the book ends on Dec 23. Almost exactly all of fallgenre: Holiday

I read a Horror set in Fall
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving 2/10/25 https://titlesurfingwithtraci.blogspo...

I read The September House. My first experience with the Horror genre. Thankfully it wasn’t overly horrific. 4 stars
“Slow Dollar” by Margaret Maron is wonderful murder mystery with an amazing group of characters and a southern flare. It is set in Autumn since it is about the carnivals that come to town during the Autumn months. I loved it!
I chose One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig. The book mentions Equinox and the harvest having occurred.
I read Guilt and Ginataan by Mia P. Manansala. This is Book 5 in the Tita Rosie's Kitchen Mystery series. The death of a character happens during the Corn Festival, an annual autumn event in the town.
I think if you've enjoyed reading the series up to this point, you will enjoy this latest installment!
I re-reading A Lady's Guide to Marvels and Misadventures (either audio like the first time or the book I now own)
I read Delicates by Brenna Thummler. It's a graphic novel/fantasy/paranormal. It even features a pumpkin patch. :)
I read 'Salem's Lot by Stephen King for this topic. The book refers to the months that the events take place as being northern hemisphere autumn. My genreclassification is Horror
I read Dungeons and Drama by Kristy Boyce, it's not very autumnal vibe-wise, but it is set in the fall 😅 I enjoyed it!
History - I read The Ghost Orchard by Helen Humphreys. It's not strictly set in autumn, but it's about the history of apples, so...
On my planned list I have historical fiction-science fiction/l set in Autumn 11/22/63 by Stephen King
Looking forward to it!
~Blākie
I read Death by Darjeeling by Laura Childs (A Tea Shop Mystery, book 1). A cute and cozy mystery novel.

Pick a book set in Autumn (Fall) but it must be a different genre than the books you choose for prompts 6, 7, and 9. (See the description under prompt 6 for more details.)
Definition of Autumn from the Cambridge Dictionary: “The season of the year between summer and winter, lasting from September to November north of the equator and from March to May south of the equator, when fruits and crops become ready to eat and are picked, and leaves fall.”
The book that you choose should be set in Autumn (Fall) but that will look different depending on whether the book is set in the northern or southern hemisphere. It may be fully set in Autumn or only partially. The seasonal setting may or may not impact the story-line. For books set in other worlds or that take place outside of Earth, you may choose a book set during the time of year when their harvests occur, etc.
