24 -- Title Is A Spoiler
I just finished The Boss’s Triplet Surprise by Holly Rayner. It was a sweet romance I read in two days. Definitely a spoiler in the title. She also has several other books in her “Million Dollar Baby” series that include spoiler titles.
I’m curious an why a lot of people see The Silent Patient as a spoiler, would be very interested to know the logic
On my TBR:The Last Flight of the Daisy Mae: A Story of Heroism and Hope at 17,000 Feet
And Then She Was Gone
Not So Dead
John Scalzi – Starter Villain, with my all-time favourite book cover. Makes me laugh, every time I see it. I've been wanting to read it for a while, and now I finally can.

It's just a silly time. I hope you enjoy!
Angela Y wrote: "They Both Die at the End Adam Silvera"I'm not sure if this is a new read for you a re-read, but I can say that I absolutely love this book! I've read it twice now and if I hadn't read it again just this last year. It was tempting to pick this one again. LOL
For this one, I really want to death Adam Silvera's third Death-Cast book, No Knows Who Dies at the End. Already read the previous two and loved them both; but it's not published yet and I'm not sure when/if it will be published this year :-(
I read Starter Villain. It fits into 4 other prompts so there is a chance I will move it. Other prompts: Prompt 5-Includes a heist, Prompt 33-a standalone novel, Prompt 38-an adventure story, Prompt 49-Set in a country with an active volcano.
I've got several possibilities for this prompt:More Than a Doll: How Creating a Sports Doll Turned into a Fight to End Gender Stereotypes
Eruption: The Untold Story of Mount St. Helens
Gather Me: A Memoir in Praise of the Books That Saved Me
Listened to the audiobook of Death on the Nile for this prompt. At first I found the story a bit confusing with all those different characters in their own setting, but once I got into the story it was hard to put the book away.
Everyone Here Is Lying by Shari Lapena 1/1/25 https://titlesurfingwithtraci.blogspo...

I read This is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone last month because I had my eye on it for a while, and am just now seeing it’s on the list for this prompt, so i will have it cover this one!
The New Year's Party
I read this book on 1 January - and decided to use this title. Excellent story with a twist.
I read That's Not My Name by Megan Lally. This was a reread for me. I first read it last year and thought it was a fantastic YA suspense/mystery. I reread it this year to transcribe it into braille for a student. It was just as good the second time around. Would highly recommend!
The Stowaway in First Class: A True Story of an Unforgettable Quest to Come to AmericaNo explanation needed. (Good book, though.)
“Death in the Stacks” by Jenn McKinlay tells us that, yes, someone will die in the fiction section (stacks) of a public library. This is book 8 of the series and, sadly, this series is not as good as it was in the beginning. I love the main character, Lindsey and her boyfriend Sully and the dog Heathcliff, but many of the newer characters are yuk!!
For this prompt, I read The Savage, Noble Death of Babs Dionne, which is a crime mystery drama about the final days of Babs, a Franco-American crime matriarch in Waterville, ME. Very bleak, since every character starts in a bad place and doesn’t seem to get out of it, but kept me interested the entire time, and it didnt utilize outlandish plot twists to keep you on your toes.
I read The Austere Academy by Lemony Snicket. I feel most of the books in this series are titled with spoilers, haha.

A spoiler is something that gives away a crucial piece of information, that may or may not “spoil” part of the story. For this prompt, we’re looking for titles that feel like a spoiler. (For example, They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera.) The spoiler may be part of the title, subtitle, or series title.
Sometimes you may not know that the title is a spoiler until you’ve finished reading the book. Other times, it’s an intentional, upfront choice by the author or publisher to evoke a specific feeling or presupposition while reading.
How big does the spoiler have to be? Keep in mind that the title does not have to spoil the main part of the plot or a main twist. Many book titles could be considered spoilers for smaller or specific aspects of the story rather than the book as a whole. As always, it’s up to you whether a book fits this prompt or not.
