Usually, they make books out of almost every single video game. Halo is an example.

Yes, they have Halo books. Even Warcraft! I am not interested in video game books as well. It's for those hardcore guys who really want to know the whole background of the game.

Crusher | 6 comments Ive never read any of the books but i think it would be interesting. I knew there were halo books before but not anything else.

Raz64 (Sopheak) | 41 comments Yes i have read Starcraft Ghost Nova which follows Nova (real name November) who is a ghost of course. It follows her from how she became a ghost and tell her about her life story. If you dont know how Nova is she was the character who was suppose to be in the "starcraft ghost" game that was canceled. I also read "Speed of darkness" another good book which follows the life of a marine.

The game was cancelled? I thought they made it?

message 11: by Raz64 (Sopheak) (new)

Raz64 (Sopheak) | 41 comments No they cancelled the game i cant remember why though but it would have been like a sneaking based game as you play a ghost and they show you what every creature look like in starcraft and even the buildings

Austin (501stlegionnaire) | 56 comments Mod

Austin (501stlegionnaire) | 56 comments Mod
Should have read it myself. I thought they did make it. It looks like they didn't. Sorry for wasting 5 minutes of your life. LOL

message 15: by Raz64 (Sopheak) (new)

Raz64 (Sopheak) | 41 comments Na its all good dont worry about it hahah it was intresting to read what would have been in that game but sadly it wasnt made T.T i would have loved to play it and see what each unit would have actually fully look like

message 16: by Austin, The StarCraft Vice-King (last edited Mar 27, 2010 08:47PM) (new)

Austin (501stlegionnaire) | 56 comments Mod
Yeah, especially the Dragoon. Since Starcraft II is almost coming out, I have a pretty general image about the other units but the Dragoon always stumps me.

message 17: by Raz64 (Sopheak) (new)

Raz64 (Sopheak) | 41 comments Lol hmmm i think i remember seeing a video for what they would have looked like in starcraft ghost wait let me see......here it is what a dragoon would have looked like

Got a pricture of a dragoon. This was from the Starcraft cinematics. They sure do look cool.

message 19: by Raz64 (Sopheak) (new)

Raz64 (Sopheak) | 41 comments Yeah they do in that picture it doesnt look like it would drop blue fluids

message 20: by Austin, The StarCraft Vice-King (new)

Austin (501stlegionnaire) | 56 comments Mod
Well, they actually are aliens inside metal armor so it would make sense.

message 21: by Raz64 (Sopheak) (new)

Raz64 (Sopheak) | 41 comments Thats true but remember they are the fallen zealots that didnt die fully so they place in there to continue to fight

message 22: by Austin, The StarCraft Vice-King (new)

Austin (501stlegionnaire) | 56 comments Mod
To correct you, they actually are grievously wounded templar.

http://starcraft.wikia.com/wiki/Dragoon

LOL, Starcraft Wiki.

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

message 24: by Raz64 (Sopheak) (new)

Raz64 (Sopheak) | 41 comments Lol true true yea sadly they arnt going to be in number two well i guess we get a new units but they can never replace a dragoon T.T

To tell the truth, the immortals look pretty sweet themselves.

message 30: by Raz64 (Sopheak) (new)

Raz64 (Sopheak) | 41 comments They do and plus they get a shield bonus against heavy attacks like the sieged tanks but other then that they can die fast again quick attacking units

message 31: by Austin, The StarCraft Vice-King (new)

Austin (501stlegionnaire) | 56 comments Mod
Yeah, the very first protoss demonstration video.

message 32: by Raz64 (Sopheak) (new)

Raz64 (Sopheak) | 41 comments Lol i thought it was the newest one that they showed but the zealots showed first/probe

message 33: by Austin, The StarCraft Vice-King (new)

Austin (501stlegionnaire) | 56 comments Mod
No I think it was part of the first video.

message 34: by Raz64 (Sopheak) (new)

Raz64 (Sopheak) | 41 comments Yeah they where now that i remember that ahaha the mothership was so strong yet they nuked it

message 35: by Austin, The StarCraft Vice-King (new)

Austin (501stlegionnaire) | 56 comments Mod
I really don't like those nuke targets. They're so freakin BIG! I like that small dot... keeps your enemy in a panic.

message 36: by Raz64 (Sopheak) (new)

Raz64 (Sopheak) | 41 comments Lol yeah true but when i ment nuked it i mean like they made it weaker then what they showed it like how it stopped all those bullets and stuff which was epic but they took it out and the black hole doesnt kill units it just takes them away for awhile and then they come back >.<

message 37: by Austin, The StarCraft Vice-King (new)

Austin (501stlegionnaire) | 56 comments Mod
Well, the nuke is powerful enough to kill off a mothership without a doubt. The black hole may be quite useful because damage is also being affected

message 38: by Raz64 (Sopheak) (new)

Raz64 (Sopheak) | 41 comments Oh really didnt know that it damages too but thats cool

message 39: by Austin, The StarCraft Vice-King (new)

Austin (501stlegionnaire) | 56 comments Mod
Yeah, it's like the templar's psionic storm.

message 40: by Raz64 (Sopheak) (new)

Raz64 (Sopheak) | 41 comments The psionic storm is an ok move it doees the same damage which is cool on a normal game but not on a custom game cause it does barely anything to people

message 41: by Austin, The StarCraft Vice-King (new)

Austin (501stlegionnaire) | 56 comments Mod
Five psionic storms in a row is like awesome. Especially against the Zerg.

message 42: by Raz64 (Sopheak) (new)

Raz64 (Sopheak) | 41 comments Yeah they are but the problem is if its custom and they have high health it wont work very well unless they give you unlimited energy to spam and then it will do a barrel of good with clones
