I actually read it a few months ago. I actually thought it wasn’t bad. Think the institute was a good concept and the kids were great. One thing I would change is part of the ending where the institute rises into the air.
I am gonna read The Institute belatedly one month late. But someone needs to start the It Bleeds thread! I finished it and want to talk about it!!! 😄😉

Will have to do unless there is a new one. Thanks! 👍
I wish King would gather some of the youngsters from this novel and write about an adult Abra from Doctor Sleep or an adult Charlie from Firestarter. I feel like The Institute is a construct much like what was operating during Firestarter where shady government types are looking for children with the ‘shine’ or other abilities to manipulate. Loved The Institute!!! 5 ⭐️

I saw them in the same worlds too Glen! I like how The Shine weaves its way through books, maybe someone related to John Coffey from The Green Mile too.
