I'm so excited!

So am I!!

I've had this book checked out of the library since August. Now I'll have to read it. 😀

I've been really looking forward to another novel by Ruta Sepetys.

Has anyone started this yet?

I have another book to finish reading and then I’m planning on starting this one!

I'm gonna try to finish The Scorpio Races before I start this one. So probably in a week and a half I'll start it.

Hope you all enjoy. This wasn't my fav Sepetys book, but I did really like it. It just wasn't as high as I Must Betray You or Salt to the Sea for me.

Wasn't this one of Ruta Sepetys's first books? Maybe that's why it isn't as good as her other ones.

Yeah, I did like it better than The Fountains of Silence tho. And I haven't read Out of the Easy, but the reason I haven't yet is because I'm pretty sure I won't care for it as much.

Have you read Salt to the Sea or I Must Betray You? because if not, you HAVE to.

Yeah, it was her debut.

Yeah, I have read both of those books by her and I really enjoyed them, especially I Must Betray You.

Yeah, I Must betray You is really good. It might be my fav of hers... but I'm not sure, I loved Salt to the Sea too.

Ahh!!! You need to read I Must Betray You!! It is so good! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.

I'm thinking if I can make time I might reread again soon. We'll see.

I’ve read this one and The Salt to the Sea, I want to read I Must Betray You. I’ve heard it’s amazing.

I've read Salt to the Sea, Fountains of Silence, and now I'm reading this one.

Finished this last night. It was so sweet once you got further in, I liked the bit of romance.

I did only rate it 3 stars and that’s due to the fact that I almost DNFed at 20% because the gory descriptions were almost too much for my weak stomach to handle. I’m glad I kept going tho cause that part got better, kinda. lol.

And the suggestive sexual comments were a lot. I realize it was realistic but that’s another thing I didn’t love about it.

I will say 10/10 for capturing the horrors of WW2. I never heard about this particular “story” before so it was nice to see another side of WW2.

Yes, I love how Ruta Sepetys' books always cover lesser-known aspects of history.

Yeah I like that. It’s more than just “one more story”. It’s a completely different story.

I just started this book a few hours ago.

I finished this book last night. It certainly was a more brutal read... I'll prob have a review out in a few days.
