For those of you who don't know me well (yet), I am an avid SFF reader and been a member of the group for a decade. {Elantris is the first group read I remember, and I think the only book I've nominated that won a poll.}
I have a special place in my heart for epic buddy fantasies, ensemble casts of any genre, military space opera, and SFF satires. I'll read anything though. As a teacher I believe everyone has a book vibe out there waiting for you to find it, and I love helping people enjoy reading. Oh, and I read a lot of YA and MG books so I can recommend them to students (plus I like them).
I'm a little nervous and feel a little underqualified for a group this active but Ryan says I can do it and he rarely says nice things to people, so it must be true!

I'm Ines and I live in Germany. I love science fiction and urban fantasy. My heard belongs to the horror subsections of those genres and generally all things dark. I'm also an avid role player, both at the table and in LARP, and if I have some time left, I work in IT/tech.
My qualifications include: trying to reduce my tbr each year, pitching StoryGraph in every discussion I have on GR (see what I did there?), adding books to my tbr, tending to my garden and having survived every interactive exhibit in the German Spy Museum alongside Ryan.
Most of you won't have seen a lot of me around here, which is not because I don't love this club, but because I hate goodreads usability with a passion.
You will mostly find me managing the group over on StoryGraph, so come on over and say hi:

Ines will be primarily focused on moderating The Story Graph and our Discord space.
Melanie will be more "hands on" here on GR!
