Kenzie LaMar | 1 comments I am almost finished with Cradle series. I absolutely love it. It's only beaten by He Who Fights with Monsters in my opinion. I love them both. I have read most of Sanderson which I have mixed feelings about(love and meh). Within the genre of litrpg and cultivation there are so many series I want to read but I would love to get some suggestions based on my love of Cradle and HWFWM. I tried the Defiance of the Fall and didn't enjoy it. Dropped after the second book. Another favorite that I would consider cultivation is Codex Alera. I just joined the group and would love any recommendations.

Kenzie, I loved Cradle until the last book when he shoved that whole thing down our throats. I hated the ending so much that I won't read the story again and I read that thing three times, at least, until the last book.

It's a slower pace and all the character work is about the main character. It's very much about an inner journey, but I love 'A Thousand Li' by Tao Wong. I love it. For some comic relief in the genre, you can't beat 'Beware of Chicken', another one of my new favorites. Great stuff IMO.

Good luck out there.

Hadrian White | 2 comments Loved Dungeon Crawler Carl, still love it since its still going. Cradle was also excellent, really like the zero to hero thing with progression elements. Another a bit like that is the "This is not an Apocalypse" series on amazon, its a slow burn but its pretty good. Cultivation, monsters, magic in a modern world with a zero to hero theme.

This is not an Apocalypse: Current Times
