I’ve seen the movies. I want to read the books. But Philosopher’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets don’t really interest me. I don’t even really love those movies. So, if I’ve seen the movies, can I just start the books with Azkaban? Or do I really need to read the first two books?

It's better to read the 1st and the 2nd book at first. There are things you wouldn't understand just by watching the movies

I would definitely start from the beginning. The movies are quite similar, but there are things like a party in the second book that are super fun to read that aren't in the movies.

Yes you absolutely should! It’s the only way🥹 book one is good, it’s just filled with nostalgia of childhood
