If you could re-read a book for the first time what book would it be?

My own, of course. I'd love to know what it is like to just be a reader and not know what is coming.
I think Huck Finn, maybe. I avoided that book for so long, but it greatly impressed me when I finally read it. I was not expecting to ever like it.

Fourth Wing! – I completely agree with that. I was so surprised by how it just pulls you into the story and keeps you glued to your seat. At some point, you realize, “Oh, there are only 200 pages left,” and when it’s over, you look at your bookshelf thinking, “Why isn’t the next book here already?”
Personally, if I let pass a couple of years between rereads, it is close enough to this wish. I remember I loved and the vibe but it almost feels like a rediscovery. It's what's happening to me now with the Folk of the Air. I both know what happened and don't until I'm reading again in all its splendor. :)
It's like when I was a kid and didn't go in the laundry room for months, so I could forget all that was on the storage shelves, and periodically go there on a trip of discovery :)

If I could re-read a book for the first time, it would be De donkere kamer van Damokles by Willem Frederik Hermans. I first read it as homework, but it completely floored me! I was flabbergasted by how much it impacted me. After finishing, I realized I had read it the wrong way and immediately had to read it again. It was hands down the best homework assignment I’ve ever had in my life.

I can still remember being 12 and feeling my stomach drop when the emperor turned apostate. Having a great knowledge of history now, I'd love to be impressed by the battle scenes and history for the first time.
Mine:
Fourth Wing! This book checks all the boxes of what I want in a book.
