Play Book Tag discussion

Pride and Prejudice is one of my favourite books, and I’ve read and enjoyed many retellings of it, so I was excited to read this one. I had previously read and enjoyed American Street by this author, so I had very high expectations. Overall I enjoyed this book, and I could easily identify some of the situations and characters, and it thought that this was a thoughtful retelling, bringing the story up to date for a modern world and setting, and covering a range of issues such as the gentrification of areas and the impact this has on people who have lived there for their whole lives no longer being able to afford to, revenge porn and racism.

I really enjoyed this retelling!
