Post a comment introducing yourself!

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) Hello all! Excited to be here for 2025, looks like a fun side challenge. Hope all have a great reading year in 2025.

Sophia (sophiarose) | 50 comments Howdy!

This is Sophia from Southeast Michigan. Been a cover devotee since I spied my first children's picture book. I freely admit I can be enticed by a cover. ;)

I'm so glad our wonderful moderator Katie has brought back the Cover challenge. I had a good time for this past year and look forward to finding some good book gems to match the cover guidelines.

Cheering us all on!

Thank you Sophia! I'm still working on being more active in the chats this year :) I loved some of the books I found off of the ones you listed in your challenge prompts last year.

Hello Anjanette! I know it's a lot to take in at once. Under the "Start Page" discussion is a list of 24 book cover challenge prompts that give you a topic to find on a book cover to read. You can do them in any order and at any point during the year. There is an individual discussion thread for each prompt you can record the book you read for it.
If you want an extra challenge, each month has a bonus prompt (mostly related to the title). These each have an individual discussion thread under the "Monthly Bonus Challenge" discussion.
If you have any questions, feel free to post here or in the "Questions" discussion topic under the "Coffee Shop" discussion section. Everyone is generally really nice and will help you understand the challenge.
I look forward to seeing what you read for the challenge prompts!

Laura Overmyer | 37 comments Hi everyone! I’m Laura and I’m looking forward to these challenges. I was kind of in a reading rut, so I’m trying new genres and authors. I have loads of books I got from Amazon’s kindle first reads that I haven’t gotten to- so many of the books I’m reading this year will be ones I already own but haven’t read yet (my little self-challenge!)

Jennifer | 26 comments Hi, I'm Jennifer. I really enjoyed doing the challenge last year and look forward to it again this year. Added so many more books to my TBR from books others read for the challenges.
