Play Book Tag discussion

I enjoy this psychological series about a future world with shifters, the highly cerebral Psy, and humans. There is a strong overarching story about changes in this society caused by the Psy, plus a new plot and romance. In one part of the story, a Psy scientist is forced to work on a project developing a an experimental brain implant. The romance focuses on a half human shifter and a human girl he knew as a child. They were separated by violence years ago, but now she is seeking his help to find kidnapped children. The story was interesting as it dealt with traumatic experiences of kids in the foster care system.
