Hi! I'm looking for romance books (fantasy welcome, but not required) with a male love interest who is protective, gets jealous, and is a tad bit possessive (not overboard tho). Think, Damon in the vampire diaries, Edward in Twilight, Christian Grey in 50 shades, etc. If I'm being super specific, I like books where the protagonist puts herself into dangerous situations and the male love interest gets mad/ protective of her. I haven't really dipped my toe into the dark romance realm, but l'd be willing to try it. As long as it's not too much for me. I'm not a fan of anything abusive (physically or emotionally) when it comes to the love interest and how he interacts with the main character. I'm also not a huge fan of super crude language during sex, however, I'm willing to look past it if you think the book is worth it.
