Okay, since this is a general talk section, i’ll start by mentioning today’s episode. There is this huge POPSTAR, kind of an international sensation who sings in my native language. He’s currently at the end of his world tour back in his (and my) native country. He’s also performing today, only an hour away from where i live, but due to the ridiculously expensive tickets, we couldn’t make it. Also sold out within minutes. But i really really appreciate him, and would LOVE TO SEE HIM SOMEDAY. Total fan moment. Anyhow there’s this historical landmark near my place, and my mom went there this morning (habitual, nothing out of the ordinary). She comes home and lets me in on the info that the popstar was there today, and she just saw him from 5 feet away. Totally chill, and for free, with a better view. Didn’t take any pictures, but told me she saw him. And now i’m facing this existential crisis over being so close to a person that I totally would kill to see (no, i’m not a blind sheep fan. If he does something wrong, then i do oppose it.), but couldn’t. it kind of sucks this day lol 😞 Okay this was kinda long but yeah. Would love to hear other’s similar experiences of something that they wanted being super close to achieve, but they somehow lost the chance?
Oh Zee! That was such a close brush with greatness. I personally can't recall anything so close, myself. I tend to keep my distance anyway. I know myself too well. If I came in close contact with someone I admired greatly, I'd break all the rules and try to hug them, then get tazed and/or thrown in jail. lol!
Hey all! I hope you all have a great and safe New Year's Eve celebration and I'm wishing you a new year full of all the happiness and great reading you can hope for! ✨🎉🎊🎊🎉✨
