This one really amused me --- the guardians and their 'in' obsession with pinstriped suits, the dark vs. light. I enjoyed encountering the Quagmire Triplets again though in wretched circumstances (of course), and Mr. Poe having been promoted and with his income showing up at the auction in time to be in on the reveal of Count Olaf. Yes it is dark, but the kids are clever and intrepid and yes I find them more enjoyable. Once again Tim Curry was marvelous reading this and it got me through some very tedious work tonight!

I've been reading them rather out of order, partly because they all require holds and NYPL system so as they come in I read them. Might dig around to see if I can get some I skipped over from another source in audio without having to buy them. I do have more tedious work and travel this week.
