Ursula Upside DownI wrote a very brief review of this book:
A fun story from an interesting perspective, with adorable, appealing artwork.
So far, I have been very impressed with the books that Tabor has written and illustrated. I hope this book has a chance for some Caldecott love.
Home in a LunchboxMy brief review:
I loved the illustrations in this book. Some are single- and double-page pictures and other illustrations are tucked into panels. The story reminded me somewhat of Gibberish
In Praise of MemoryThe illustrations by Peter Sis are certainly lovely, but IMHO, the poem is too obtuse for children to understand. I'm not sure that I understand it, frankly.
