This is a YA mystery novel that follows our main character Gianna Reyes as she attempts to solve her town’s biggest case: the disappearance of local boy Oliver Kipman. Oh—and he’s also wanted for murder. With the help of Ollie’s younger brother and an unlikely ally, the trio works together to retrace Ollie’s steps. The deeper they dig into the case, the more Gianna realizes that Ollie’s disappearance isn’t all what it seems. From unraveling her town’s darkest secrets, to discovering a link between her current case and a murder decades ago, to obtaining a stalker-this case might just change everything Gianna thought she knew about the people in her town—and about herself.
