Okay so I read up on this and you are going to read at least one book suggested by 12 people next year. Sounds like quite a challenge.
Are there any triggers you want to avoid?

Spiders, Ghosts, Clowns are pretty much my triggers oh and the death of animals usually. Which is weird because I was alright with Junji Ito and he does alot of ghosts in his stories lol

So not Stephen King's IT. :)
Have you tried Legends & Lattes yet? I really enjoyed it and there is a prequel in Bookshops & Bonedust too.

In that case how about the "Jim Henson's The Storyteller" series?
They have a series with specific subjects such as ghosts, dragons, fairies, shape changers, and more. Even better you can read them free with a ComiXology Unlimited subscription.
