is there interest for a 2025 BINGO? we have slowly dwindled but it might be fun to do again but without any pressure to complete a whole card?? thoughts???

Wanda | 785 comments A recently published book you would gift to a friend/family ? ( thinking Serviceberry could give everyone a kick start square) lol

Natasha Penney | 565 comments Some suggestions: Read a book popular on social media; Read a book based in the future; or Read a book recommended by an elderly loved one.

Yes, my bad- there are many many wonderful Canadian authors whose books I would gift to others!

Tina Wilson | 72 comments I have a shelf full of books by Canadian authors that I haven’t gotten to yet. How about a “dusty spine” read???

lol - no worries Wanda and would love to see you join us if you have time this year for some book bingo!!

Tina - great idea! I bet we all have some dusty spines...

fun fact... did you know that the spine crackers thread was named by Natasha.. many year ago now

message 12: by Wanda (new)

Wanda | 785 comments Spine crackers a wonderful weekly thread! Which added to all of our TBR piles... Good choice Natasha made!

Natasha Penney | 565 comments That name was one of my brighter ideas. 🙂

Tina Wilson | 72 comments Spine crackers such a great idea Natasha!!

How about a Bingo square for a local to you author? Has that been done before?

That's a great suggestion and I will keep that one for 2026 since our 2025 game is set. thanks Tina!

Alan Scheer | 153 comments Susan you are a trail blazer. Toronto Public Library reveals its version of the Bingo card this coming week and Indigo for the first time has something like a bingo card. I didn’t know you were so close to Heather Reisman. That must be how you get all of your free books.

LOL - I wish I knew Heather Reisman!!

I think the original book bingo was actually from a former group that disbanded just as I joined it. from that, inspiration, Canadian Content was born and we continued the bingo.
