Fo 2025 I’m really going to focus on clearing my bookshelf. This list are books I put on past 12+4 challenges but didn’t read. Many are from this current year. I’m still trying to knock off a few more so this list is subject to change before Dec 31st based on what I can get read….

Happy reading. It's always a good feeling to clean up a book shelf or two.. Then you can fill them up again.

I love the idea of clearing up some shelves. I hope you love Carrie Soto Is Back as much as I did, it was really great. I wasn't as much a fan of Weyward, but I might have just been being super picky. The other books look so interesting, I have many of them on my TBR, so I cannot wait to see what you think.

Some great picks! I enjoyed The Five-Star Weekend on audio. I also enjoyed Someone Else's Shoes. There were parts that had me laughing out loud.

1st book finished - Watching You . 3 stars

First let me say that I love Lisa Jewell and her writing. I will read anything she writes. I have loved other books of hers, this one fell a little short for me. The story itself is good. There is some mystery, some twists and turns to keep you guessing. I feel at points it was a little boring, I really didn't care for the main character Joey and the ending was just flat, no big fireworks that I'm used to in her books.

I would still recommend this book, because I love this author. Just maybe start with one of her other books first...

2nd book finished - Carrie Soto Is Back . 4 stars. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is really a 4.5 stars for me. One of the things I love about TJR's books is that you never know what you're going to get. She doesn't stick with the same writing style or plot lines each time. So each book is a fun new gift to unwrap. And given I grew up playing tennis and totally enamored with Wimbledon, this was right up my alley. I will say it took me just a second to get into the book, I was really put off with Carrie's character in the beginning. But that's the magic of TJR! I think you need to have that dislike to become invested in Carrie's growth throughout the novel. Definitely a book I would recommend you pick up and read if you haven't done so already.

3rd book finished - Beach Read . 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Thank you Emily Henry! You are so good at writing books that make you laugh, cry and totally fall in love. This book was like peeling back the layers of an onion. The more you peel back, the deeper the book gets. I loved this book!

And it has one of the single best romance lines ever:

“I’ve never met someone who is so perfectly my favorite person.”

Great progress, Lindsey! Each read has gotten better and better. Awesome.

It's not summer until you've read an Elin Hildebrand book!! And man this was a great summer beach read. I absolutely love this concept of a Five Star Weekend! It makes me want to do one. Loved this book!

5th book finished - The Only One Left . 5 stars!!

Holy Twisty Corkscrews Batman! This book is one crazy, wild ride that will have you doing flips and turns at every pass. Just when you think you know what's going on, guess again! I love Riley Sager books and this one does not disappoint!!!

6th book finished - A Winter in New York . 4 stars ❄️❄️❄️❄️

Well thank you Josie Silver! Here we are again with a book that makes me do the ugly cry in public having to explain that yes I really am okay, I'm just reading a book that's ripping my heart apart! So, seriously, I do love Josie Silver and have loved all of her books. This one makes you feel like you're smack in the middle of a Christmas Hallmark Movie with snow sprinkling on you. Everyone needs to be a member of the Belotti family. Great story, great characters. Now I want to finishing crying in my gelato!

7th book finished - Someone Else's Shoes 3 stars 👠👠👠

Ok, it takes a minute to get into this book. Towards the end it really picks up steam and is fun. I had a love/hate relationship with Nisha. Overall a good book.

Lindsey~Glad you got thru it. 7 Books doing well. I don’t think I’ve read any this year. Have to check The Motley, think I have read most of those for the Challenge. Can’t believe 2025 is almost over
