Fun, nostalgic read. REM was an important band for me growing up, and I was lucky to see them live. The books covers history of the band, including the Athens music scene in the early 1980s, and background of each of the members. The history is also told in the context of the times. More focus on the early history and hard work to build a following and record by record insights. 4.5 stars rounded down.
