how do you all like this? lol idk what I'm even doing, I'm not very good with writing and I need to research more world history because my minimal knowledge is good for nothing

In a quiet, lush green valley there could be heard a multitude of birds sweetly singing their morning song, and the poppies swaying their crimson petals in the delicate breeze. In the valley, meanwhile, sat a young girl with a quiet, yet not somber demeanor. She had a pair of rather dully colored eyes, though they had a mischievous and kind twinkle in them, and flowing golden hair that seemed to glow as the sunlight bounced off it. Her dress was light but kept her warm, and embroidered on it were wildflowers of the country. Her name was Zofia Zielnińska - in a word, Poland.

As it happened at the very same time, somewhere in the North a young boy of the same age looked at the pristine, snowy landscape in front of him. He had striking iris blue eyes framed with frosty lashes, though they seemed to gaze ahead, sadly and wistfully. His hair was an almost white blonde and he wore a thick winter coat, as well as a thick scarf embroidered with sunflowers. This young man was named Ivan Braginsky, or as many other countries call him, Russia.
