   find the crests as well as information on what each noble house has

    • 𝗡𝗢𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗦

   

   The noble Hayden family in Voxthain holds power over the city’s police
   system with their militia. The Hayden family has a private militia that
   functions as the primary policing force of Voxthain. The militia is led by
   Katarina Hayden, matriarch of the Hayden family, and her daughter,
   Caledonia Hayden, who is a commanding officer. The Haydens—and
   by proxy the militia—may be looking into the recent murders and
   disappearances occurring in the cities.


   

   The Ellington-Wyver family was once two distinct noble families:
   The Ellingtons and the Wyvers. After a series of failings from both
   families, the current heads were left with no choice but to marry to
   strengthen the power of both of their individual houses. The
   Ellingtons have historically had a major hold on the flow of water in
   Voxthain, and the Wyvers controlled a lot of the intercity agriculture.
   The current matriarchs are fighting with everything they have to take back
   what was lost from their family names.


   

   The Calico family are known for bringing a sense of luxury to the upper
   classes of Voxthain. They hold claim over the jewels and gemstones,
   giving the nobility a look to accompany their name.


   

   The Delacroix name is very well known around Voxthain. The large family
   has ties and relations to many of the other noble houses of Voxthain,
   including the Calicos. The Delacroix family has kept much the nobility
   tight in their grasp for many years through sheer cunning, but beyond
   that, they also control masonry and the construction of buildings
   within Voxthain.


   

   The Thorne family name is synonymous with help and healing. With a
   family history of strong healing magic, the Thornes are hospitable and
   generous, forming and running many hospitals and places of safety and
   healing within Voxthain. Of the noble houses, the Thornes are viewed as
   among the best by the lower born people.


   

   The Seaveys have kept their name in the household of every citizen in
   Voxthain through their control of the newspaper. All press goes through
   the Seavey house, giving them the power to control what information
   enters the minds of the people. The other noble houses have it in their
   best interest to remain on the good side of the Seaveys or risk the ire of
   the public.


   

   The Devoes are an expansive and often confusing noble line, with pure
   blood going back generations. Even so, the Devoes are one of the
   lesser known noble families, far less flashy than the Calicos or Seaveys.
   The Devoes hold their noble claim over vaults and the highest of
   storage, keeping clientele in the uppermost echelon of the city.
