1) Road of the Patriarch 2/5 - very disappointing start to the year. But, onwards and upwards!
2) The Children on the Hill 3.5/5 - the twists were a bit OTT but a good read nonetheless.

4) PTSD Radio 1 (Vol. 1-2) 3/5 - I've been a bit spoiled by Junji Ito so other horror manga don't hit quite as hard as his. But there's a few great sections.

In addition I also have my Libby Wish list, also out of control. I am going to focus on books I own this year and/or books on my Libby Wish list.

So I don't think I'll be able to complete this challenge this year, as I still have two books to go, and I don't think I can make it.

I agree. It's more about the intent and the effort.

As they say, it's the journey, not the destination. Cuz the destination can always change.

Every year, I go through my TBR list and find books I will just never end up reading, whether because of scarcity or having lost interest or forgetting why I put it on the list in the first place. Does that count? 🤔🤔🤔

In a wild plot twist I was able to read the two older books I needed to finish this challenge, and made it after all, yay! 🥳
