I'm in! No specific level. I participate in this challenge just to see how many library books I read each year. I love visiting the library and checking out books. Just not sure how many I actually end up reading. :-)

2024 is the first time after many years of checking out a book from the library. I did it primarily to read books for challenges I wouldn't have otherwise read. Perhaps I will do it again in 2025. Level 1
(5/10)
(5/17)
I'm in. I get most of my books from the library so I will go for Level 4 (51-80 books)

Curious question. Do you think Kindle Unlimited reads should count for this challenge? I haven’t in the past but it occurred to me it’s not that different from a library and they do use “checked out” and “return title” terms… 🤔

Good question. I believe some count KU as part of the e-reader challenge, but can see how it fits here too since the books are "checked out". My own approach is to not count KU anywhere. There's not a wrong approach so please include where makes the most sense for you.

I seriously don't remember the last actual book I purchased. Since I work at a library, ALL of my books are from the library! I have purchased a few e-books but that's it. I'm not really planning to participate with this as a challenge, but it might be interesting for me to track books (or e-books) that I actually purchase! It's a REVERSE challenge! LOL
Staci wrote: "Hannah wrote: "Curious question. Do you think Kindle Unlimited reads should count for this challenge? Hannah wrote: "Staci wrote: "Hannah wrote: "Curious question. Do you think Kindle Unlimited reads should count for this challenge? I also count Hoopla as they come through my library.

I did not meet my quota for this one. Only 26, instead of 31-50. My library does not get all the books I request.I broke it down to print and e-books. I prefer e-books; I can adjust the font. I had to return one print book unread, as the print was too small, even after I bought reading glasses.

So close! 26 is good use of your library.

Nice! I'm good at checking them out, but not so good at actually reading them. LOL.
