House? Who needs it?
Dog? Who needs it?
Parents? Who needs them?
Childhood? Oh, grow up!
Money? You'll make it!
Dreams? Let's be real.
Love? You've got to settle sometime.

Rent? Where is it?
Job? Why don't you have it?
Ring? Why haven't you gotten it?
Question? Why haven't you asked it?
Kids? Why don't you want them?

You need to grow up.
You need to get help.
You need to commit.
You need to try harder.
You need to get over it.

this poem has great meaning. people expect so many things from each other but we can't do it all. we can't live up to their expectations and it gets overwhelming. all the noise can be too much sometimes.

okay so the author S.K Williams they have 3 books out and they're all really good. first book is maybe today. then I've read 3 books from Yung pueblo he has a trilogy I read (not in order tho cus it doesn't really matter) the first book is inward.

maybe today he talks about loneliness, loss, trauma, and grief and how it grows and leans from that

inward is about self love and letting go :)
