By accident I read the abridged version and then read the full unabridged again when I realized it. Watched the movie too. Unintentionally had a whole Gatsby week :)
Also, (not a classic, but) saw you're reading Tress... looking forward to seeing if you like it. Enjoy!

@Allean: Good to hear, looking forward to reading it. Recent classic favorites have been Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne and Persuasion by Jane Austen. Not sure if you've read either of these already but for sure would recommend them.
