Play Book Tag discussion

Last year, we started a new tradition where people can donate participation points, and I will make a charitable donation in accordance to the number of points donated.

The way it works is for every 100 points donated, I will donate $10. If the total gets to be more than I can handle in one donation, I will split it - - donating half now and half in June - - but I think we should be fine.

Last year, we collectively donated over $500!

This year, the charity will again be Reading is Fundamental. Reading is Fundamental has a 4 star (highest) rating on Charity Navigator. All donations given through 12/31/24 will be matched by other donors. If there's anything I think we all support and value - - it's Reading!!

If you wish to participate, please message me with the following information:

1. # points you wish to donate (I will be pro-rating up so no need to donate in a specific amount - - if you want to donate 5, that's fine).

2. If you are okay with your donation being denoted publicly at PBT (feel free to share below, or I will post a list of donors later).

I'd like to get the match, so if you can please let me know by December 28th, that would be great!!

I was surprised at how many points I've accumulated through November! Yes, I do not check my point levels with any frequency. Like almost never.

I'll donate 200 points. I don't know how many I have, but am sure I have plenty.

Can you post the link to the spreadsheet with the points?

I rarely vote since most have different reading taste to me and have been rubbish at getting the tags done the last couple of years so thank you for an opportunity to use the points on something good.
