i dnfed the first one after about 150 pages 😭 it was too slow for me
I read "Toxic" because I saw it recommended on BookTok, where people said it was good, but it was soo bad.

Yeah, I wrote a review if you want to check it out, but hands down, it's the worst BookTok recommendation I've read.

@Navya, It's branded as like an enemies to lovers, but it's not, and I just didn't think it was that good of a book.
I read Phantasma and Megal Slinger thinking that it was gonna awesome, but i found Phantasma kinda meh for what people was saying. I liked it, but the trials were not anything special and Metal Slinger is just worthy because of the last 2 chapters (but i think that the 2 book of metal slinger can be pretty interesting)
Divergent — hunger games rip off but more romance and terrible plot and world building…also cringey cliche characters and lines
For me def the cruel prince I tried so hard to read it but couldn’t enjoy it or get passed Cardans tail 💀
100% the cruel prince, I had the dnf the first book and I never got back to trying to read it again. It was just boring and I wasn’t into it. I’ve been wanting to try it again though -sloan

For me, I really didn't like the Red Queen Series. I liked the first book, but they kept getting worse. Mare never learned from her mistakes, and they were like 1,000 people who liked her, but she had chemistry with none of them. I would have liked if her character developed better. Sorry!
Unpopular Opinion: Harry Potter and Percy Jackson. My friends kept recommending them to me and I tried reading them but I never could get into them. They were slow and really hard to read. Excitement and action usually only appeared halfway through the book, so for the first like 200 pages I was just reading words.
I hate twisted love no one can convince me to change that I feel like its overall very predictable ai kinda writing I never understand why ppl lov it
lightlark & the first agggtm book for sure. i loved the second and third agggtm books but the first i just got bored of so fast. and in lightlark she just didn't end up with who i wanted her too and i felt like she was just making all the wrong decisions
I agree I only got through the first book of Lightlark because I didn’t feel as though I really needed to continue to read it. It didn’t quite end on a cliffhanger and so I wasn’t motivated to continue the series. I don’t mean it is bad, it is simply not for me. If you love this book series that is wonderful, this is just my opinion. 💕🫶🏻✨💖
Definitely lightlark for me. I bought the special edition bc I kept hearing about it and I ended up like basically hating the book. It had a bonus chapter and it was literally spice…..and I got jumpscared cuz I try not to read spice
