Samantha (brambleandpages) | 2 comments I’m super curious (nosy?😉) about everyone’s journey with the books that have led them to their current positions in life so with that in mind I have a few questions to satiate my curiosity that I will answer as well.

1.) What was the first book that got you started on your pagan path?

2.) What (in your opinion) is your absolute favorite beginner book?

3.) And which book has left the greatest impression on you so far?

The first book for me that opened my eyes to a spiritual path in nature that I was desperately searching for was To Speak For The Trees by Diana Beresford-Kroeger

My favorite beginner book for druids is The Druidry Handbook by John Michael Greer

The book that left the greatest impression is actually a fiction book written by a member of the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids about a modern Druidic Grove called The Gathering by Katherine Genet. It was the first book to show me what a Druidic practice actually entails (most books just say it’s a nature worship/spiritual path without giving any examples of everyday life.)
