Archie Comics

The traditional Archie comics are mostly evergreen and don't really have a reading order for the most part. They did try and do a reboot a few years ago. The main Archie title was by Mark Waid. I'd start there. They are pretty good. None of it really follows the craziness of Riverdale though.
The Mark Waid Archie series is fun! Like Chad said, you can pretty much pick up any Archie book and get started - do they still sell them at the grocery store checkout? I loved getting those as a kid!
I have such a wonderful memory of the first time I was able to find and afford a little treasure trove of comics--they were Archie and Betty And Veronica digests. When I was a little kid, I went on summer vacations with my family in West Hampton of Long Island a few times, before the whole place got so built up; there was like one major, kind of empty road then that would take you a long distance. At least in the western part before the Hamptons became so extremely expensive, it was rural in certain spots, with locals who kind of spoke with upstate accents and tended to snicker at the tourists.
A bunch of my different family members and friends of our family would rent multiple houses on one block and pack a whole lot of us inside each of them to cut costs. There were ongoing huge card games in each house, as well as board games going on, like Family Feud. It was so fun, so exciting to me. And then the nights would get cooler and we'd sit out on screened porches playing Scrabble and I'd feel the breeze coming off the water; those vacations are among the happiest memories of my life.
At the time, there were quite a few garage sales in the Hamptons, and one time I found dozens of those Archie comics for $0.10 each. I was in heaven, because I couldn't afford much of anything as a kid.
At night I'd lie on my blanket-bed by the little flaming fireplace in one of those Hamptons houses and just get lost in those comics, the colors and the quirkiness.
I wish I could find a place like that again, just this unexpected wonderful thing at the side of a road. When I go out nowadays, I don't see things like that anymore. Or maybe they're out there somewhere, but I can't reach them or I no longer notice them because I'm no longer a hopeful little kid....
I was out in Westhampton today actually. Went to a play my friend is in in Quogue. I couldn't tell you the last time I came across cheap comics like this but I don't know that they exist on Long Island anymore.

I love the Tv show Riverdale and want to start reading the comics. I’m someone that really likes to go in order but I can’t seem to find an order for the comics. Can anyone please help?
